Healthcare has had a long proud history in our community from the early 1900’s when Mennonite settlers helped create the first county hospital- Bethany Deaconess Hospital in the old town site.  Later the Schiltz Memorial Hospital was constructed (current Power County Museum) and served the community from 1926-1960.  The current facility was constructed and originally opened as the Power County Hospital in April of 1961 and has served the community ever since.  The general bond passed in 2017 allowed the complete renovation of the facility over the last three years to create a new and more modern healthcare facility to better serve the community.

Thank you so much for your support and patronage… Cheers to 60 more years of Caring!
