2026 Power County Hospital Foundation Golf Ball Drop Official Rules
The 2026 Golf Ball Drop is conducted by the Power County Hospital Foundation to support healthcare programs, services, equipment, and patient care initiatives benefiting residents of Power County and surrounding communities.
Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of purchase. Void where prohibited by law. By purchasing an entry, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Entry Period
Golf ball entries will be available for purchase until the published sales deadline or until all available entries have been sold, whichever occurs first.
Event Date
The Golf Ball Drop is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time. The Foundation reserves the right to modify the time, date, or location if circumstances require.
Entry Assignment
Each golf ball purchased represents one entry into the Golf Ball Drop. Entries will be assigned unique golf ball numbers. Participants will receive confirmation of their assigned golf ball number(s) prior to the drawing.
How the Winner Is Determined
Numbered golf balls will be dropped onto a designated target area. The golf ball landing closest to the designated target will be declared the winner.
If two or more golf balls appear equally close to the target, Foundation representatives will determine the winner using reasonable measurement methods. The decision of the Foundation is final.
Prize
The winning entry will receive fifty percent (50%) of the total gross proceeds generated from Golf Ball Drop entry sales.
The Foundation reserves the right to verify eligibility before awarding the prize.
Notification of Winner
The winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of purchase. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period or is determined to be ineligible, the Foundation may select an alternate winner in accordance with these rules.
Need not be present to win.
Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with receipt of the prize.
Refund Policy
All entry purchases are final. No refunds will be issued except as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants release and hold harmless the Power County Hospital Foundation, PCHD Foundation, Inc., Power County Hospital District, sponsors, volunteers, employees, board members, and affiliated organizations from any liability arising from participation in the Golf Ball Drop or acceptance of any prize.
Privacy
Participant information will be used solely for administration of the Golf Ball Drop and Foundation communications in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Foundation policies.
Official Decisions
All decisions made by the Power County Hospital Foundation regarding interpretation of these rules, eligibility, winner determination, and administration of the Golf Ball Drop shall be final.
